NEW YORK (February 14, 2007) — Telephony® and WirelessReview®, leading business magazines covering the telecom industry, and NXTcomm today announced that the magazines will serve as the joint official publishers of the NXTcomm Daily News print and electronic show daily products, as well as the Official NXTcomm Show Program Guide.

NXTcomm, which is co-owned by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) and the United States Telecom Association (USTelecom), will focus on the converged future of communications and entertainment and will take place June 18-21, 2007 in Chicago. NXTcomm replaces both GLOBALCOMM and TelecomNEXT. The NXTcomm Daily News will be written and produced on-site by the award-winning editors of Telephony and Wireless Review, and will offer expanded print distribution as well as a pre-show e-newsletter series, e-newsletter Daily News version, podcasts, webcasts and online news reporting.

The Official NXTComm Show Program Guide will be published prior to the event and include comprehensive exhibitor, conference and speaker information as well as feature data highlighting industry trends.

Telephony and Wireless Review will create the definitive print and electronic source covering the companies, technology and trends making news at NXTcomm 2007,” said Mark Hickey, publisher of Telephony. “Our industry-veteran editorial team will relay the excitement and news-value of the technologies and companies making news at this key industry event, while delivering bundled marketing opportunities and more value to the exhibiting companies.”

The print edition of the NXTcomm Daily News will be published each day the NXTcomm exhibits are open: June 19, 20 and 21. The 2007 Daily News will have an on-site circulation of 12,000 issues per day, and will be distributed at rooms of NXTcomm attendees at key hotels on

Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. The Daily News will also be the only publication distributed throughout McCormick Place and at conference/keynote sessions. The 2007 NXTcomm Daily News will also include a series of pre-show, technology-focused e-newsletters, e-newsletter versions of the Daily News, daily podcasts and a co-branded Daily News web site. The e-newsletters will be delivered directly to the desktops of 75,000 Telephony and Wireless Review e-newsletter subscribers and NXTcomm registered attendees.

The Official NXTcomm Show Program Guide will be the only guide distributed by NXTcomm show organizers to all registered attendees, with an expected distribution of 20,000 to 30,000 copies.

Telephony and Wireless Review are industry leaders and we are fortunate to have them play such a pivotal role in the launch of NXTcomm,” NXTcomm Executive Director Wayne Crawford said. “We’re looking forward to working with the publications’ staff to create a show daily and program guide that chronicles the only event where the business and technology of communications, information and entertainment meet.”

Editorial development of the NXTcomm Daily News and the Show Program Guide will be led by Telephony’s editor-at-large, Carol Wilson, and Telephony’s director of content development, Jason Meyers.
