more on the topic
The year 2007 has been an interesting one in the telecom world. WiMAX was up, then down. Muni Wi-Fi was mostly down. AT&T struggled to get U-verse going but is picking up speed on its IPTV rollout. The cable companies seemed to be on a roll, but hit a third-quarter snag that rattled Wall Street.
So how was your 2007? Seriously, we want to know.
Telephony will be celebrating the best and worst of 2007 in our Dec. 10 print issue and online at http://www.telephonyonline.com on that date, and we want your input. We are asking our readers to respond to any or all of the questions listed below. You can send your responses to me, cwilson3@telephonyonline.com, or to any Telephony editor, just be sure to put 2007 Survey Response in the subject line so we can make sure your vote counts.
If you don’t want to answer all of the questions, that’s fine, just choose the ones you want to answer. Here are your options:
- What was your top “On-The-Job Headache” for 2007?
- Tell us a trend you hope your company doesn't follow.
- Tell us a trend you hope your company does follow.
- On a scale of 1 to 100, with 1 being the perfect crash and 100 being the perfect world, how optimistic are you about the telecom industry?
- Finish this sentence: "I’m just glad I don’t work at…"
- Finish this sentence: "2007 will be remembered as the year that…"
Be sure to look for reader responses – and our editors’ views – on what made 2007 memorable.
