AT&T announced the launch today of its U-verse service for parts of the Oklahoma City area.
Customers in parts of Oklahoma City as well as Edmond, Moore and Norman, Okla., will now be able to get AT&T’s fiber-based high-speed Internet and IPTV package. U-verse features include regular and high-definition channels, digital video recorder capability, video-on-demand and wireless home networking, among others.
“We’ve been looking forward to the arrival of AT&T U-verse in Oklahoma just as much as consumers who have been eagerly awaiting a new and better choice for their video provider,” said Jim McGuire, AT&T vice president and general manager for Oklahoma, in a prepared statement. “AT&T U-verse TV is here, and it’s changing the competitive landscape and changing the way customers view television.”
The company said it will continue to increase U-verse availability throughout the area on an ongoing basis.
