A whole new us
more on the topic
Welcome to Telephony’s new Web site. I’m confident you’ll immediately notice a lot of changes to www.telephonyonline.com, but I wanted to point out several that I think are significant.
First and foremost, you now have easier access to a broader range of news articles, features and commentary from Telephony’s editorial staff. This talented group of journalists is constantly producing must-read content, and you’ll now find that more of the content is simply one click away from the Home Page. The entire editorial staff will be contributing news and feature articles that are unique to TelephonyOnline.com, and I’m certain this is something you will want to check out daily.
There is also easier access to other content from around the Internet, courtesy of three separate news feeds, all three powered by mBLAST, a powerful Web information resource and media/marketing relationship management company, that are tracking news, blogs and global resources.
Our new commentary section will feature two weekly contributions from outside industry experts, drawn from a talented pool of our regular sources, as well as one-click access to our two blogs -- Telephony Unfiltered and Telephony 2.0 -- and to regular daily commentary by our editors.
There is also ready access to a wide range of other content including podcasts, which we do weekly, and Webcasts, which we add periodically. These are all editorially driven projects, featuring expert commentary from the industry’s most interesting people. Our e-newsletters, produced weekly and sent via email, are also now available on the Web site, as are the special print supplements we produce to accompany the bi-weekly Telephony magazine.
White papers, e-books and events are also part of the Telephony product family, and we encourage you to check these out as well. On the immediate horizon is an exciting new IP Video Workshop which we are sponsoring with Spring VON 2008 in San Jose on March 17, and you can easily find information about that show. I’m particularly excited about it because it will feature leading service providers such as Qwest Communications and SureWest Communications as well as new media outlets such as Seesmic, ICTV, MobiTV and more.
And while the Web site you now see represents a significant change for us, we’re not done yet improving the site, so stay tuned for even more opportunities for you, as a reader, to participate in the new TelephonyOnline.com.
