Yahoo launches mobile content publishing with Go2
more on the topic
Yahoo revealed more of its strategy at CTIA Wireless, announcing it would bring its OneSearch technology to the mobile phone and partner with location-based content company Go2 to add the critical presence element to the mobile platform. Yahoo Mobile Publisher Services will target Web publishers looking for an easy way to extend their content to the mobile device while still retaining ad revenues. Yahoo will also extend the capabilities of its Mobile Ad Network to phone. Yahoo, however, won’t simply be pasting Web content onto the mobile browser. It will be adding mobile-specific features, particularly Go2’s location-aware services and other mobile-specific content aggregation platforms, including video from MobileTV.
