VeriSign made headway on its plan to help make the mobile device an integral part of the e-commerce infrastructure with a partnership announced today with ClairMail, which will provide a secure two-way mobile customer interaction platform that VeriSign will integrate into its Mobile Banking Solutions.
The integration agreement is part of a global technology solution alliance between the two companies that helps VeriSign leverage its mobile messaging and content delivery platforms.
Joseph Salesky, CEO of ClairMail, said the partnership will enable banks, credit card issuers and brokerage customers to accelerate the use of the mobile device as a channel for two-way customer interaction. VeriSign’s Mobile Banking Solution can now support mobile interface types, such as: messaging (SMS and email), mobile web and native client applications.
The VeriSign Mobile Banking Solution was launched in March. ClairMail is based in Novato, Calif., and was founded in 2004. It’s platform supports account management, fraud mitigation, actionable alerts, mobile payments, marketing campaigns and no-hold customer service.popular articles
