TMW: Wily chosen for AVIS Catalyst project

DALLAS--CA announced that its Wily Technology division was chosen to provide monitoring solutions for the TeleManagement Forum’s Accelerated VoIP and IMS Services Catalyst project.
The Wily Introscope is providing the performance monitoring for the provisioning portion of the project and Wily Customer Experience Manager is providing quality of service and SLA management for the AVIS customer self-service and SLA management portals.
“The last 100 years of the telecom industry were all about hardware and the next 100 years will be all about software,” said Matt Price, vice president of the worldwide telecom business unit at CA. “This is the first time performance management software has been included in a Catalyst program. There is a need to monitor performance across all processes and services to make sure the customer experience will be OK.”
