A story in the Sept. 11 issue of Telephony which highlighted the efforts of charitable foundations operated by carriers incorrectly stated that Verizon Wireless operated its own foundation. However, the charitable foundation attributed to Verizon Wireless actually is operated by Verizon Communications. Telephony regrets the error.
