IBM has released a commercial license for a new version of its MPEG-4 video and audio toolkit. The kit, available at IBM's alphaWorks site—www.alphaWorks.ibm.com—gives developers the ability to create and playback MPEG-4 content as well as to develop MPEG-4 based applications such as an interactive TV presentations.
