TowerStream’s expansion drive continues as the metro broadband wireless access service provider announced today it has launched a fixed WiMAX network in Miami.

TowerStream has deployed a single base station on the top of Miami’s Four Seasons Hotel, the city’s tallest building, allowing it to provision its wireless T-1 services to thousands of businesses in Miami itself and outlying areas.

Miami is TowerStream’s eighth market. It now has service in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, San Francisco and Providence, R.I.
